Citizen Services / Pro Se
Filing Pro Se means that you are acting as your own attorney and filing without the assistance of an attorney.
Forms for filing pro se for custody, visitation, paternity and child support matters are available on the Montgomery County Juvenile Court website or may be picked up at the Citizen Services Office, located in the lower lever of the Juvenile Justice Center.
Once you have completed all required forms, please take them to the Citizen Services Office for review.
Once reviewed, make any corrections that are noted.
When your forms have been approved for filing:
Make copies needed (you will be given a total number when your packet is reviewed)
DO NOT MAKE COPIES UNTIL THE COURT HAS APPROVED YOUR DOCUMENTS FOR FILING
If you prefer, the Clerk’s Office can make copies when you file for $5.00
Bring the forms you filled out, copies and filing fee to the Clerk’s Office for filing
Hours for filing are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
IF YOUR CASE IS DISMISSED (EVEN BEFORE YOUR FIRST HEARING), YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND OF YOUR FILING FEE

Coming to our office?
The Citizen Services Office is located in the lower level of the Juvenile Justice Center. After entering the building, go straight through security and turn right at the Information Center Desk. Take the stairs or elevator (E1) down one level.
