Magistrate Murty

Moira Murty is a Magistrate at the Montgomery County Juvenile Court focusing on Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency matters. Prior to being appointed as a Magistrate, Moira worked was a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Tony Capizzi, Administrative Judge of the Montgomery County Juvenile Court since January 2014. Ms. Murty earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Dayton where she majored in English with a minor in Communication, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law.

Prior to joining the Juvenile Court, Ms. Murty served as Staff Attorney for many distinguished jurists, including the Honorable G. Jack Davis, the Honorable William B. McCracken, and the Honorable Francis E. McGee. Ms. Murty is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, as well as the Ohio State Bar Association.
