Ted Valley was appointed as a Juvenile Court Magistrate in May 2026. Prior to joining the Court, he represented children and parents in delinquency and custody cases, and also served as a Guardian ad Litem. From 1999 to 2004, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s office, representing Child Protective Services and the Support Enforcement Agency in child welfare cases and child support enforcement actions. Magistrate Valley earned an undergraduate degree in criminal justice in 1995, and a law degree in 1999, from the University of Dayton.
