Nicholas Residential Treatment Center

Education Services

All residents attend school on-site at Nicholas Liberty, a state-chartered public school operated year-round to provide continuous education. Students work toward credit recovery, high school completion, or reintegration into their home schools. The curriculum includes core subjects, elective courses, and accommodations for students with IEPs or 504 Plans.

The school environment is designed to be both supportive and structured, with small class sizes and individualized instruction. In addition to academic support, youth also benefit from access to technology, a monitored library, and college and career readiness programming.

Health and Wellness Services

NRTC maintains an on-site clinic staffed by medical professionals who handle basic health care needs, medication administration, and referrals. All youth receive a medical screening upon admission, and ongoing care is provided throughout their stay. Services include immunizations, routine health checks, and coordination with specialists when needed.
