Magistrate Smith

Magistrate David Smith earned a bachelor’s degree from Wilmington College in 2003 and a law degree from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 2006. He became a magistrate in 2025 and was previously a partner at Babb, Anderson, Rowland & Smith, LLC, focused on bankruptcy, estate planning, probate law, and juvenile law. His previous experience with Juvenile Court includes more than a decade as an appointed attorney and guardian ad litem. He is a father to four children with his wife, Rachel.
